  One of my fav Italian joints in the CBD. The Crispy Polenta is a must.
  
  Honestly I keep coming back for the food over the service. I'd probably leave only 4 stars but I feel the food is worth all 5.

  The food was decent, but the service was pretty terrible. I ordered the set menu, and chose the bruschetta and risotto. When I had finished the main course, the server took at least 10 minutes to take my dessert order (which was hazelnut gelato), and I asked for the check at the same time. I waited another 20 minutes before another server came to ask if I was waiting for something. I told him I'd been waiting on gelato for 20 minutes, and he apologized and ran off..before coming right back and asking what I had ordered. I told him not to worry about it and left. I wish I had just got takeout.

  I mistakenly thought this place was related to fratelli paradiso. My foodie friend highly recommended fratelli paradiso. It was after i ate here and was very disappointed with the taste of the food did i learn from my friend the two restaurants are unrelated.
  
  The food here is very basic. The seafood scampi pasta had no flavors and tasted very bland. The seafood tasted like it was from a commercial frozen bag. The pizza was very average. The only thing i liked here was the ball of fresh burrata cheese on top of the pizza. The service here was also very bad and it was very hard to flag down waiters. The beers were pretty good though. I heard from my same foodie friend that this place used to be pretty good back in the days. But it got corporate, expanded, and then the food quality and control started going down.

  Service was terrible and food was cold. Arrived early on a Friday evening with no booking but got a table right away. Had 4 interactions with 4 different wait staff. When we sat down, first person came rather quickly got our water and beer order. Beer arrive quickly. Then spent 20 minutes trying to flag down a wait staff to take order. A waitress snuck up behind us and asked if we were ready, we ordered, asked for another beer, and never saw her again. Food came out rather quickly, but all at once. Served by yet another wait staff. Never saw them again. The problem was the starter, salad, main and side were dumped on our table. By the time we finished the starter and salad, the main and side were cold. Then the wait. 30 minutes after we finished, table was cleared and asked for check. Never saw them again. 30 minutes later still no check, and we could not flag anyone because no one came by! There was lots of activity away from us, but eye contact did no good, a hand wave did no good, even standing up at our table did no good. 2 and 1/2 hours in restaurant, last hour waiting for the check.
  
  Food was average, place was very loud, would not recommend.

  This review makes me so sad because this chain used to be a solid 4-5 stars.  Ever since Urban Purveyor Group bought them out, they have continued to drop over and over again and now I wouldn't even recommend this place to a friend.
  
  We came on Friday and the service was fine.  Same staff they used to have that give you the authentic Italian feel.
  
  The main disappointment was the food.   We had two pizzas, the mushroom risotto and porcini ravioli, tomato and bufalo salad, arancini balls and olives.  I don't think I would order any of those dishes ever again :(
  
  We didn't even get the banoffee pie because the quality had dropped so much.
  
  Keen to see how others respond to this, but I won't be going back.
